RMHC Scholarship Application 2023| UPDATED

Every year, the regional branches of this Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) offer scholarships for high school seniors attending a two- or four-year college. Since 1985, Ronald McDonald House Charities has given over 60 million dollars in scholarships!

RMHC Scholarships are for USA students residing in locations where you will find engaging local Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters. To qualify, students should be high school seniors.

What You Need To Know About The Ronald McDonald scholarship application

There are just four scholarships offered through the system (remember that not all chapters offer each). Students are only in a position to apply for one of the 4 scholarships. Students must intend to attend two or four-year college and also have at least a 2.7 GPA.

Many RMHC Chapters offer you no less than $1,000 in scholarship awards for winning students.

Four RMHC scholarships

1.RMHC Scholars Program:

This scholarship program is available to all students regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, sex, handicap, or national origin.

2. RMHC Asia Program

The RMHC Asia Program is for applicants with at least one parent of Asian /Pacific Islander heritage; the applicant must submit an essay about cultural background, career goals, etc. Pacific heritage.

3. RMHC African American Future Achievers

The Ronald McDonald House Charities African-American Futures Scholars Program is for students with at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage. The applicant must submit an essay about cultural background, career goals, etc.

4. RMHC HACER Scholars

RMHC HACER Scholars is for pupils with at least one parent of Hispanic/Latino Heritage. Applicant must submit an essay about cultural background, career goals, etc.

Vary by participating chapter (many awards a minimum of $1,000), but national versions of RMHC/HACER award $100,000, payable over four years for undergraduate education.

The Ronald McDonald scholarship program is intended for high school seniors who will be attending a two or four-year college.

ELIGIBLE NATIONALITY

Ronald McDonald Scholarship Eligibility:

  • Be a high school senior under 21 years of age
  • Be eligible to attend a two- or four-year college.
  • Be a legal U.S. resident
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Live in a participating RMHC Chapter area
  • Submit the application and all requirements by the deadline
  • Verify enrollment each year.
  • Meet any additional eligibility requirements outlined by a program (see above)

Ronald McDonald Scholarship Application

The applications for the RMHC scholarships are available online from October to January.

Students can upload supporting documents directly via the online application, but they can mail in the supporting documents if they cannot.

However, they should make sure they follow the directions because incomplete applications will not be considered. Mailed applications should also be certified so applicants can be notified when their materials are processed.

Once an application is processed, which can take several weeks, applicants can view their status on the application home page.
