#1. E.S.L. Graduate Bursary for International Students at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, 2023

The English as a Second Language (E.S.L.) The College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies (C.G.P.S.) offers bursaries and is a support program for international graduate students who want to strengthen their English skills.

E.S.L. bursary scholarship is available for Graduate students in the following courses:

  • Pronunciation
  • Spoken English (general speaking and listening skills)
  • Effective Writing
  • Grammar (reading or general writing and grammar skills)

The scholarship application deadline is in parts; Fall term (September – December) – August 1 annually, Winter term (January – April) – December 1 annually, and Spring/Summer term (May-August) – March 1 annually.

#2. Ursula Henriques MA Scholarship at Cardiff University in U.K., 2023

The Cardiff University is open for applications for Ursula Henriques Scholarship to pursue postgraduate research programs starting on September 24, 2023, for all M.A. programs.

Competence in the English language is a criterion of admission. In the academic year, the year, the award was used to create on a competitive basis two one-year partial fee scholarships of £2,500 for postgraduate applicants holding an offer of a place on a master’s program in the School to commence in the academic year.

#3. GoOverseas.com Full Scholarships and DCU Partial Scholarships in Ireland

GoOverseas.com in conjunction with the Irish Universities, is currently offering Full Scholarships and DCU Partial Scholarships for Students from the U.S.A.

The scholarships cover the applicant’s tuition fees only, including a round-trip flight, tuition, and a stipend to the Land of Saints and Scholars.

DCU also offers 10 X €2000 Merit-based Partial Scholarships at Masters Level to Go Overseas Scholarship Applicants. Scholarships are available to pursue a Master’s degree program in English.

Up to 10 scholarships are available for Students from the U.S.A., though the Scholarship can be taken in Ireland. The Scholarship will be paid through a fee reduction only.

Shortlisted applicants will only be notified by email shortly after the Go Overseas campaign closes. The winners, who have been invited to apply, will receive an offer letter outlining the original fee less the €2000.

Students with a G.P.A. of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale have a higher chance to be shortlisted (depending on their U.S. University / College and statement).

For our two grand prize scholarships (tuition waiver + stipend), applicants must be U.S. citizens to win. For the additional scholarships offered by universities and partner providers totaling over $50,000, applicants must be citizens of the U.S., Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom to be eligible to win.

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

#4. U.S.E.F.P. Fulbright Degree Program for Pakistani Students in U.S.A., 2023

Applications are open for the Fulbright Degree Program for Pakistani students to study in the U.S.A. These grants cover tuition, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, health insurance, and the visa process.

#5. Full Chinese Government Scholarship- CUST Scholarship for Non-Chinese Students in China, 2023

The new Chinese Government Scholarship: Changchun University of Science and Technology Program is now available on offer for Non-Chinese students in China.

This is a full scholarship established by M.O.E. to support Changchun University of Science and Technology in recruiting outstanding international students for graduate studies in China.

Scholarships are available to pursue a Master’s degree program in English. The scholarship awards; Tuition waiver, Accommodation, and Medical insurance Stipend of CNY 3,000.

Scholarship recipients registering on or before the 15th of the registration month will be granted the full living allowance of that month.

#6. A.M.I.N.E.F. Fulbright Master’s Degree Scholarship for Indonesian Citizens in U.S.A., 2023

The American Indonesian Exchange Foundation (A.M.I.N.E.F.) is offering Fulbright Master’s Degree Scholarship for bachelor’s degree applicants. The applications deadline is on February 15, 2023.

The Scholarship is available to pursue a Master’s degree program in English. Applicants should Have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0, Have a minimum TOEFL ITP score of 550 or IELTS equivalent.

The United States–Israel Educational Foundation (U.S.I.E.F.) currently offers Fulbright Master’s Degree Fellowships for Israel’s 2023 academic year.

Up to 6 grants are available to U.S. Citizens and are designed to allow Bachelor’s degree holders to pursue a Masters’s degree at an Israeli Institute of Higher Education.

The Applications Deadline is on October 9. Fellowships are available to pursue Master’s degree program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

#8. 2023 OAS-NYIT Scholarship for Undergraduate and Graduate Programmes in New York, U.S.A.

Applications are open for OAS-NYIT Scholarship to study at the New York Institute of Technology (N.Y.I.T.) in New York City.

To qualify for the OAS-NYIT Scholarship, applicants must be admitted to the University and apply to the OAS-NYIT Scholarship separately. Applicants must meet the Universities’ English Language Requirements.

Scholarships are available to pursue a graduate program in the English language. The University will provide a tuition discount of $1,500 – $3,000 / year (fall and spring semesters only) for students with a minimum undergraduate G.P.A. of 3.3 required.

The Scholarship Recipients of Bahamian citizenship may also qualify to receive additional funding from the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas through the OAS-GOB scholarship program.

This Scholarship is available to students of O.A.S. member states, though it can be taken in New York, U.S.A.

#9. Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Students at the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland, 2023

The University of St.Gallen is currently offering two different Excellence Scholarships to foreign Students i.e., Excellence Scholarships and Starr International Foundation Scholarship Fund.

These scholarships are available for the Autumn Semester of 2023 and based on merit. The application deadline usually is Eight days before the H.S.G. admission test.

Scholarships are available to Master students in English-language programs. The scholarship grants for CHF 15,000 per program shall be paid annually.

Exceptional students are identified by the Advice Center for Study Funding based on various criteria and are then asked to submit additional documents.

#10. Partial I.E.D. Masters Scholarship for International Students in Italy and Spain, 2023

I.E.D. – Istituto Europeo di Design and Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli – I.E.D. Como now offers applications for up to 17 scholarships covering 50% of the tuition fees for Master courses held in Milan, Rome, Turin, Florence, Venice, Cagliari, Como (Accademia Aldo Galli), Madrid and Barcelona.

In order to apply, candidates need to show proficiency in the course language at minimum level B2. The Application Deadline for submissions follow the courses’ intakes; June 14 for courses starting in November, September 20 for courses starting in January, and February, and November 15 for classes starting in March.

Scholarships are available to pursue a Master degree program in the English language. I.E.D. and Accademia Galli offer 19 Scholarships covering 50% of the tuition fee for Master’s courses.

#11. AAUW International Fellowships in U.S.A. for Women

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) awards International Fellowships for full-time study in the United States to women not United States citizens or permanent residents.

Both graduate and postgraduate studies in the English language at accredited institutions are supported.

The Deadline for this Scholarship is on November 15 (annual), and the Next Course starts in July.

#12. George Washington University Global Leaders Fellowship

The Global Leaders Fellowship is for incoming graduate students at the George Washington University, Course starts in September and the Deadline for application is on February 8 (annual).

Three awards will be given to Master’s degree students to study any course they choose, including the English language on the main Foggy Bottom Campus.

Students from the following countries or regions can apply; China (P.R.C.), Cambodia, Eastern Europe, Laos, Latin America, The Caribbean, Mongolia, Sub-Saharan Africa, U.S.S.R. Successor States, and Vietnam.

This Scholarship award will cover up to 18 credit hours. Successful students will have to provide funds from other sources for books, Living, and other expenses.

The vision of The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is to educate qualified but disadvantaged young people in Africa who will contribute to the transformation of the continent.

#22. U.N.I.L. Master’s Grants in Switzerland for Foreign Students

The University of Lausanne in Switzerland offers the U.N.I.L. Master’s Grants on a competitive basis to international students who wish to pursue a Masters Degree in all courses, including the English language at the University.

The application deadline for this Scholarship is on November 1 (annual) as the Course starts in September.

About 10 Scholarships will be granted for the minimum statutory period of the program chosen by the student. It amounts to CHF 1,600 per month from September 15 to July 15 (or ten months a year) for the complete duration of the masters (one and a half years or two years, depending on the chosen master), except cases of definitive failure after the first year.

The International Ambassador Scholarship is currently open to provide financial support for outstanding students who wish to act as ambassadors for the University of West London.

ETH Zurich supports excellent students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree at ETH with two scholarship programs: the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) and the Master Scholarship Programme (M.S.P.).

The application deadline is December 15 (annual), and the course starts in 2023. The Excellence Scholarship (ESOP) consists of a grant covering Living, tuition fee waiver, and study expenses (CHF 11,000 per semester).

The Master Scholarship (M.S.P.) consists of a partial stipend for Living, tuition fee waiver, and study expenses (CHF 6,000 per semester).

The department can additionally provide a scholarship of CHF 1,500 – 3,000 per semester or offer an assistantship from the second semester onwards (with a payment of CHF 600 per month).
