Courts scholarship is available for Jamaican students in tertiary institutions
In the tertiary category, Courts offers six grants valued at $250,000 each and four scholarships valued at $400,000 each (for the duration of the programme) for first degree students at any recognised institution in Jamaica. For GSAT, 28 awardsvalued at $100,000 each, will be awarded to students with a GSAT of 85 per cent or higher. In the skills t category, 10 awards valued at $50,000 each wall be awarded to individuals enrolled in any HEART Trust/NTA institution.
The following requirements are to be met by applicants to stand a chance to win this scholarship:
- Applicant must be accepted to a recognized tertiary institution OR must be a registered student at any recognized tertiary institution in Jamaica.
- New students must have at least five (5) or more CSEC Subjects and a minimum of four (4) CAPE units or the equivalent
- Enrolled students must have a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale OR have maintained a B+ average.
- Applicant must be in financial need.
- Applicant must be pursuing a first degree.
