AIMS Positions in Health and Interventions Monitoring with Artificial Intelligence (HIMAI) Project 2022

The African Institute for Mathematics Sciences (NextEinstein Initiative ) is receiving applications for a Ph.D. and Postdoctoral position from qualified individuals. The Application is on a project called AIMS Health and Interventions Monitoring with Artificial Intelligence (HIMAI) Project.

The HIMAI Project seeks to transform the practice of Pharmacovigilance and the diagnosis and control of various diseases with the use of approaches heavily dependent on Machine Learning and AI.

Successful Candidates will be lodged in the AIMS Rwanda Campus, and maybe temporarily collaborate with Wet/Engineering Labs in Rwanda and Elsewhere based on the topic of research.

About AIMS HIMAI Project

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is a pan-African network of centers of excellence for post-graduate training, research, and public engagement in mathematical sciences.

We enable Africa’s brightest students to become innovators that propel scientific, educational and economic self-sufficiency.

AIMS vision is to lead the transformation of Africa through innovative scientific training, technical advances and breakthrough discoveries that benefit the whole of society.

They are poised to enable Africa’s brightest students to flourish as independent thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators capable of propelling Africa’s future scientific, educational and economic self-sufficiency.

The AIMS Health and Interventions Monitoring with Artificial Intelligence Project is one of the opportunities to Innovate and transform Africa through the latest scientific discoveries. The HIMAI project works with the best of technologies to solve health issues in Africa.
