Little People of America, Inc., is a nonprofit organization that provides support and information to people of short stature and their families by providing short-people scholarships, grants, and fellowships.
Membership is given to all those men and women that usually are no taller than 4’10” high.
Their short stature is generally a result of one of those more than 200 health conditions called dwarfism. Psychotherapy can also be available to family relations and curious practitioners working with short-statured individuals.

What you need to know about the Little People of America Scholarship
Within our service to individuals with dwarfism and town, in particular, Little People of America (LPA) provides educational scholarships to current and prospective students attending college or Vocational school within the USA.
A scholarship committee, led by LPA’s Programs Director, will examine application programs in addition to individual donors.
LPA scholarship awards will be restricted to two awards for both undergraduate studies plus something for graduate studies.
Scholarships are awarded in order of preference :
• associates of LPA that have a clinically recognized form of dwarfism
• immediate relatives of dwarfs who’re likewise paid members of LPA
• individuals with dwarfism that aren’t associates of LPA

Eligibility for Scholarships for short people
This short people scholarship is given to students who meet the criteria as follow:
- members of LPA who have a medically diagnosed form of dwarfism
- immediate family members of dwarfs who are also paid members of LPA
- people with dwarfism who are not members of LPA
Some Helpful Tips on How to Apply for LPA scholarship.
- Submit the completed application package by the deadline,” April 30.
- Incomplete or late packs will be rejected. The scholarship committee looks at grammar and spelling when reviewing the application.
