Loom Nam Khong Pijai (GMSARN Scholarships) in Thailand

Applications for the Loom Nam Khong Pijai (GMSARN Scholarships) are now being accepted. Eligible candidates should be the citizens of countries in Greater Mekong Sub-region. He or she must be pursuing master degree in one of the areas listed below. The scholarship covers all of the related expenses for 22 months in AIT’s residential campus. 

Scholarship Description
The Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships are granted by the Royal Thai Government in honor of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It aims to assist human resource development in the 6 GMS countries in any field of study related to the following 4 thematic areas as listed below.

Award Value
Each Scholarship award covers tuition and registration fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT’s residential campus, for the entire period of 22 months master degree program.

Level and Area of Studies
Master degree in one of the areas as follow:

  • Infrastructure Development
  • Energy Technology
  • Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Development, and
  • Environmental Engineering and Management.

Place of Study: in Thailand

Eligibility and Criteria

    • Graduated in related fields from an accredited institution.
    • Have a good education record in a 4-year undergraduate degree program  with CGPA above 3.5 or equivalent.

Have high proficiency in English (a ToEFL score of 550 or equivalent or AIT English Entry Test writing score of 6)

Applicants’ Nationality
Only the citizen of Thai, Myanmar, Laos PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam and China (Yunnan and Guangxi Provinces) may apply this scholarship.
