Washing Allbirds is a really simple procedure. Allbirds is an American shoe company that creates wool-based eco-friendly running and everyday shoes. Like any shoe, they can get very dirty despite being fashionable and comfortable to wear.

Start by taking out the insoles and laces before washing the shoes. If you have a mesh bag, place the sneakers in it and wash them in a washing machine on the wool, delicate, or mild cycle at the coldest setting possible. After that, wait at least 24 hours before lacing them back up and wearing your shoes again.

Put your shoes in the washer on the wool or soft cycle if they start to feel a touch stale. We’d probably advise simply putting the shoes in this cycle, but be sure to do so before doing so. Use a delicates bag and your preferred gentle detergent for the best results.

We advise hand washing the shoes from our Mizzle line to maintain the fluorine-free water-repellent coating on the wool top. The best way to remove dirt is by spot cleaning with warm water and mild soap, however machine washing is still acceptable if a full clean is required.

Remember to air dry your shoes the old-fashioned way, and do not under any circumstances use bleach or the dryer!

You can put your socks and underwear in the washing machine, set to cold, with your preferred light detergent. When they’re done, you may air dry them or tumble dry them on low. Owner’s preference. Allbirds Smell After Washing

The insoles can be hand-washed but shouldn’t be machine-washed. Your Allbirds insoles will last longer if you wash them by hand. Like a wool sweater, it appears that shoes and insoles can occasionally be washed, but excessive washing can compromise their structure and shorten their lifespan.

It is advised dabbing a tiny amount of mild detergent on the upper, woolen portion of the insole before hand-washing it. You can use cold or lukewarm water to rinse the detergent off. Also read this: How did Goose Die in Top Gun? (Explained)

I strongly advise using something to guarantee they maintain their shape, such as a shoe tree or stuffing it with something you can reshape. Wash on a wool cycle and in a laundry bag if you have one.

In my experience, tree runners are most susceptible to injury or deterioration above the toe, thus it’s crucial to restructure it after a wash to prevent it from becoming odd around the big toe.

After washing it, while it dries, use something to reshape it. Don’t tumble dry them or put a shoe tree in your washing machine. Review from customers.
