Australia Awards Scholarships is a government-sponsored scheme that provides opportunities for people from developing countries to undertake full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. It is an undergraduate scholarship for African students to study abroad.
Host/Eligible Nationality:

Australian Government Research Training Programme (RTP) Scholarships for Ghanaian Students 2023
Applications have been invited for the Research Training Program (RTP). The scheme is administered by individual universities on behalf of the Department of Education and Training.
This program is among the Australian scholarships for Ghanaian students which aim to provide flexible funding arrangements to support the training of domestic students and overseas students undertaking HDRs at Australian HEPs, deliver graduates with the skills required to build careers in academia and other sectors of the labor market, support collaboration between HEPs and industry and other research end-users and support overseas students undertaking HDR studies at Australian HEPs.

Generally, the scholarship is open to international students, including students from Ghana.

Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS) has up to 6 Ph.D. Scholarships in the field of Environmental Health Sciences. The scheme has stood out amongst other Australian scholarship schemes and programs packaged for international students.
Level/Field of study:

Africa Masters Scholarships and Short Courses Award (Fully-funded to Australia)
The Australian Government invites applications for the Australia Awards Africa. Australia Awards aims to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and its neighbors through Australia’s extensive scholarship programs.
The initiative aims to build a new generation of global leaders with strong links to Australia. Australia Awards Africa is the cornerstone of the Australian Government’s development assistance program for Africa.
It provides access to postgraduate education, training, and professional development opportunities for suitably qualified Africans from eligible countries. On their return to the workplace, Australia Awards Alumni are expected to contribute to the development of their home countries.
Host/Eligible Nationality:
The scholarship is organized in Australia and is open to all students from Africa, of which Ghana is part. So students from Ghana are eligible to apply.
Level/Field of study:
This program is open for two different levels of study; Masters and short course training. No particular field of study is specified.
Scholarship worth:
Australia Awards Masters Scholarship: Entitlements for holders of a Masters Scholarship include the following:
- The full costs of tuition fees for up to two years

Host/Eligible Nationality
It is hosted by the University of Melbourne, Australia and it is open to students from Ghana. Other international students are eligible to apply. It is obviously the highest paid on the list of Australian scholarships for Ghanaian students.

Scholarship worth:
- Full fee offset for up to two years for students undertaking a Master by Research degree or up to four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.
- Living allowance of $30,600 per year pro-rata (full-time study rate) for up to two years for students undertaking a Master by Research degree or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.
