The Beverly J Smith scholarship is a vintage scholarship, with a lot of history. In 1881 Marion Talbot and Ellen Swallow Richards invited 15 alumnae from 8 colleges to a meeting in Boston, Massachusetts.
The purpose of this meeting was to create an organization of women college graduates that would assist women in finding greater opportunities to use their education, as well as promoting and assisting other women’s college attendance.

Smith Memorial Scholarship in honor of its past president an annual scholarship, where women looking to further their education in the undergraduate level would have the access to apply for this scholarship annually, not in flicks.
Ms. Smith was a nationally known and respected expert on refugee resettlement and immigration, who did a lot of investment to humanity and believed in equality.
To honor her memory, the branch assists with the education of a woman working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
The program is open to female students who are enrolled as a full-time student and attending an accredited college or university.
The winners of the Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship will get up to $2,500 award for their education.
The applicants must be citizens of the United States of America residing in Dauphin, Cumberland or Perry County.
The scholarship also favors students, applicants, with an apparent financial need, and also students who have shown reasonable academic achievements.
Students who have 3.4 CGPA and above would stand more chance of being awarded this scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

- The applicant must be attending an accredited college or university located in Pennsylvania.
- The female student having completed at least 60 credits toward a Bachelor’s degree by end of spring 2022 term.
- The applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student in the fall 2022 term.
- The applicant must have Demonstrate academic achievement with at least a 3.4 GPA.
- Demonstrate financial need.

Zonta International
Working to promote the rights, wellbeing and professional status of women worldwide, Zonta International offers two scholarship programs.
The Jane M Klausman Women in Business Scholarship awards a series of annual scholarships for women studying business management at undergraduate or master’s level. Recipients must be members of the Zonta club, with scholarships worth US$2,000 at the district/region level and US$8,000 at the international level.
The Amelia Earhart Fellowship is for women studying at a Ph.D. level in the aerospace field. This scheme awards 30 fellowships each year to women around the world, worth US$10,000 each, which can be used to support doctoral studies at any university or college.
Women Techmakers Scholars Program
Google’s Women Techmakers Scholars Program scheme awards scholarships to women studying in the field of computer science and technology at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Scholarships are worth around US$10,000 and are awarded across the globe, with applicants assessed on their academic and leadership background.
