Details of the CBSE Scholarship Program for Single Girls

Objective

The aim is to award CBSE scholarships to deserving single female students who are unique children of their parents and who have passed the CBSE Class X- Examination with 60%/6.2 CGPA or higher and are continuing their further school education in Class XI and XII

Eligibility Criteria

All single girls who obtained 60% or more of 6.2 CGPA on the Class X exam and who study in grades XI and XII at the school (affiliated with CBSE) and whose tuition fees are not superior to RS. 1,500/- p.m. during the academic year will be considered for this purpose.

For the next two years, the total amount of tuition fees in this school cannot exceed 10% of tuition fees.

The Rate of Fellowship and Mode of Payment

The rate will be Rs. 500/- per month. The CBSE scholarship awarded under the program will be paid for a maximum period of two years. Payment is made via request/ECS.

Selection Process

The student must have passed the CBSE class X examination and have obtained a grade 6.2 CGPA in order to be able to attend classes XI and XII of the CBSE schools and should ONLY be a CHILD SINGLE GIRL of the parent.

Details of Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship For College And University Students

Objectives

Financial support for deserving students from low-income families to cover a portion of their daily expenses while completing their graduate studies.

Eligibility

Students who are above 80 The percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream for a particular Board of Examination, in class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent and not belonging to the creamy layer

Selection Process

The examining bodies will draw up a merit list of scholars likely to be eligible for fellowship within five weeks after the results of the examinations are announced by the Boards/ Universities/Authority for all students.

Rate Of Fellowship

  • Rs. 1000/- per month at the diploma level for the first three years of college and university courses
  • Rs. 2000/- per month in the 4th and 5th year. The scholarship would be paid for 10 months in one academic year
  • For the Diploma:

Rs.1000/- per month * for three years (To be disbursed in lump sum Amount of Rs.10,000/- at the end of the academic year)

  • For the post-graduation:

Rs 2000/- per month for two years after graduation (a lump sum of 20 000 Rs. – at the end of the academic year)

How to Apply for CBSE Scholarship 2023

Applicants must submit their application online for the Central Board Of Secondary Education Scholarship on the official website, Www.cbse.nic.in

  • Go from the end of the home page to the “CBSE Scholarship Portal”.
  • Select the ‘Guidelines and Application Forms/Apply Online’ link in the spreadsheet, and a new page will appear.
  • Click on the “Apply Online” link to access the “CBSE Merit Scholarship Program for a Single Female Class X” adopted in 2023, and Renewal’ or ‘Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship For College And University Students – Renewal’.
  • Read all the guidelines before applying online.
  • Fill in the “registration number of the secondary school examination” and “certificate No. as on the certificate XII” and click on the “Connection” tab.
  • Fill out the online application form with the correct information.
  • Upload your passport photo and other documents like the mark sheet of the preceding qualification.
  • Submit your completed application after reconsideration and remove the printout of the application form.
  • Enclose your application along with the application form and super scribe it with “Application For CBSE Merit Scholarship For SGC X (Form F-1)” or “Application For Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship For College And University Students”.
  • The application should be submitted to the address that is well stated below on or before the last date.

  • An accreditation report certified by the person in charge of the establishment must be attached to the application:
  • Registration report for the graduate course, duly signed and stamped by the leader.
  • Copy of Mark sheet of Sr. School Certificate Exam. Write online registration no. on the top of the mark sheet.
  • Copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable. Write online registration no. on its top
  • Income Affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/- in the original. Write online registration no. on its top
  • Income Tax Returns/Form-16 of both the Parents issued by the employer should be attached along with the affidavit wherever applicable)
  • One canceled cheque of a personal/saving account or photocopy of the front page of the Bank Passbook (which is used for scholarship) bearing the Account number and NEFT/RTGS code
  • A hard copy of the online application must be signed by the applicant
