Coimbra Group Scholarship Programme for Young Africa, Europe, and Latin America Researchers

Applications are now accepted for the Coimbra Group Scholarship Programme for Young Africa, Europe, and Latin America Researchers 2023; applicants are reminded to ensure that they have complied with the eligibility criteria to avoid disqualification.

About:

Coimbra Group Universities have been providing, since 2008, young researchers from universities in Sub-Saharan Africa, the European Neighbourhood, and Latin America with the opportunity to spend a short period (1 to 3 months) at a Coimbra Group University to carry out part of their research there.

The three Scholarship Programmes offered by the Coimbra Group are enjoying a top level of popularity, as shown by the results of the evaluation exercise carried out by the CG Office.

The grant holders since 2008/2009 were asked to take part in an online evaluation survey aimed at collecting data about grantees’ research areas, mobility background, as well as information on the perceived impact of their CG scholarship on their career and on difficulties encountered.
