  • A $40 (nonrefundable) application fee for new students

  • The application price includes the cost of the first PERT, TABE, or Accuplacer exam completed at Palm Beach State.

How do I get my Transcripts to the Colleges in West Palm Beach?

Transcripts are documents of educational institution courses. All credit degree and certificate students whose program requires high school completion must submit transcripts within one academic period, or they cannot register for future literary periods.

Students must electronically provide transcripts from Florida public high schools, colleges, and universities using the Florida Automated System for Transferring Electronic Records (FASTER).

Applicants with a GED diploma must present valid transcripts from their state’s Department of Education.

Applicants with out-of-country high school qualifications must produce proof of completion of a U.S. High School equivalent (subject to evaluation by the College).

To guarantee adequate advisement, transfer (college) students must present official high school and college transcripts from each institution attended and have college transcripts sent before registration.

The high school may waive the transcript for admissions reasons if a student has achieved an associate, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally approved institution.

College transcripts from postsecondary institutions outside the United States are not required. You must complete a course-by-course commercial evaluation by a recognized organization before the school considers you for a credit evaluation. Transcripts must go directly from the issuing school to the College to be official.

All students seeking a degree or a college credit certificate or wanting to take Gordon Rule writing and mathematics courses must provide official test scores.

Before registering, students must produce official Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT), Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores. Test results are valid for two years from administration.

Students must retest or take PERT for placement if their ACT or SAT scores do not match the state-mandated minimums. The application price includes the cost of the first PERT, TABE, or Accuplacer exam completed at Palm Beach State. Before taking the exam, students must pay the application fee. Any further testing incurs a retest cost.

Students whose first language is not English and who did not graduate from a U.S. high school or pass an English GED test in the United States must show college-level English ability. Transfer students from non-US post-secondary institutions must also show English competency.
