$1000 Digital Privacy Scholarship

This award is designed to help you understand why you should pay attention to what you post on the Internet.

Digital Privacy Scholarship

The Digital Responsibility Company believes it is important to understand that almost everything you post online is neither temporary nor private. And posting too much information can have disastrous consequences. Therefore, they are offering this scholarship to know how aware people are as regards to Digital Privacy.

According to a CareerBuilder survey, 43% of employers who use social media have decided not to hire staff. According to a poll by Kaplan Test Prep, 12% of admissions officers at colleges who reviewed Facebook did not choose to accept a candidate.

Scholarship Worth

A successful applicant will receive a scholarship worth $1000.

Eligibility

To apply for the Scholarship, applicants must be:

• Home-schooled students, high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors or a current or entering college or graduate school students of any level.
• US citizens or legal residents.
• Also, there is no age restriction, in other words, anyone can apply.

Level/Field of Study

This Scholarship is open to home-schooled students, high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors or current or entering college or graduate school students of any level.

Host Nationality

Digital Privacy Scholarships are hosted by Digital Responsibility, a US-based technology company whose goal is to share with young people the personal and public consequences of technology.

Eligible Nationality

This scholarship is available to US citizens and legal residents.

How to Apply

To apply, applicants are to adhere to the following:

• fill out the Scholarship Application form on the official website.
• include a message of about 140 characters about digital privacy.

The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists, and finalists will then be invited to write a full text of 500 to 1,000 words on digital privacy.

Application Deadline

The application for the Digital Privacy Scholarship will close on June 30, 2022.
