In 2022, all students seeking a Doyle Scholarship will benefit from a streamlined process and a longer application period.

Over the last two years, Doyle candidates have been invited to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the  California Dream Act Application(CADAA) AND to complete a separate Doyle Scholarship Application.

With the implementation of AB19, all students working full-time for the first time, regardless of their income, may be eligible for a fee waiver or tuition reimbursement.

In addition to the prestigious Doyle Foundation Scholarship, all new high school graduates in our region who decide to go to school at the SRJC in the fall at the end of high school can DOUBLE THE DOLLARS they receive to go to school at their first year.

Level/Field of Study

SRJC scholarships are available to high school seniors graduate class of 2022. Undergraduates can browse through undergraduate scholarship category to select scholarships they are eligible to apply.

Eligibility for Doyle Scholarship SRJC 2022

  • Graduates of the local high school class of 2022
  • Unweighted High School GPA of 2.0 * or higher
  • You must submit the FAFSA or CADAA application, regardless of your financial need, use the 001287 school code.
  • Register for a minimum of 12 units at SRJC by the fall of 2022.
  • Complete an SRJC orientation (Privileged Orientation 270)
  • Have an SRJC education plan developed with an educational advisor

How to Apply for SRJC Scholarships 2022

Students who do not meet the March 2nd deadline must still complete the application, but may be included in a secondary checklist for review.

Students can submit their FAFSA / CADAA until September 2nd to take into account the prices of the academic year, depending on the funds available.

* Students who qualify for the Doyle Trustee Award (2.0 – 2.749 HS GPA) must submit an additional essay to support their application. (Xanax) The scholarship office will contact the identified students to send them additional information.

High school graduates who can not send the FAFSA or CADAA (no SSN and AB540 are not eligible) should contact the SRJC Dream Center.
