Students looking for scholarships and academic, financial aid can now lay hold on this opportunity. The Dutch Bangla Bank Group announced its Dutch Bangla Bank scholarship in 2023. This sponsorship program is designed to assist poor but brilliant Bangladesh students in pursuing their tertiary education.
Over the years, under its social cause program, Dutch-Bangla Bank has awarded scholarships to deserving students needing financial aid to study at different levels of education.
The financial institution awards new scholarships yearly and renews existing awardees. Interestingly, over 80% of the scholarships have been given to rural students and 50% to female students.

Level/field of study
This scholarship is open to high school seniors who wish to further their education. No particular field of study is stipulated for the Dutch Bangla Bank scholarship.

The Dutch Bangla Bank scholarship program is organized and hosted in Bangladesh annually.

Eligible nationality
Only students who are citizens of Bangladesh can apply for the DBBL scholarship. Any entries from students not from Bangladesh may not be considered.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates who will apply for the DBBL scholarship must have the following;
- 4.8 or above CGPA without 4th subject (inside City corporation educational institutes)
- 4.3 or above CGPA without 4th subject (outside City corporation educational institutes)
- Students enjoying scholarships from other sources (except Government scholarships) will not qualify for Dutch-Bangla Bank Foundation (DBBF) scholarship.
- 90% of total scholarships will be awarded to students who passed from Institutions outside the City Corporation and 50% to female students.
Scholarship worth
Beneficiaries of the Dutch Bangla Bank scholarship will be awarded a scholarship for up to 5 years with various benefits. Winners will be entitled to;
- Monthly scholarship payment of 2500 taka
- Yearly scholarship payment – For books – 5000 taka
- For Uniform – 1000 taka

- Scanned a recent passport-size color photograph of the Student
- Scanned passport-size color photographs of the sStudent’sfather and mother
- The scanned mark sheet and testimonial of S.S.C./equivalent examination
- Scanned mark sheet of H.S.C./equivalent examination
- Scale of all Scanned Documents: Image Dimension- width:500px to 600px, Height:700px to 800px and Image Size Max-150kb)
