Basically, the general cut off mark for Post UTME was pegged at 180 by the federal ministry of education to help students get easy access to admission.

Therefore, for you to register for Olabisi Onabanjo University post-Utme, you score nothing less than 180 and about in the UTME examination which is set as a benchmark for all courses in OOU.

OOU Departmental Cut off Marks

Moreso, cut off marks defers by departments. For instance, the mark that you must attain if you want to study law will differ from the mark you must attain when you want to go for a business course or medicine.

Now, let get into the main business

Easy Ways to Pass OOU Post UTME

As OOU Aspirant, It will be very disappointing for you to pass Jamb with a high score and fail post UTME which determines to a very large extent if you will be admitted into the university this 2021.

Although the university Post UTME has not commenced yet, it is expedient for you get yourself ready. A popular adage says, ‘A stitch in time saves nine’. You must necessarily need to wait until when OOU publishes its Post UTME update before you can start preparing.

Now, how can I Prepare, you may ask?

That is actually why am here. I list below Easy ways you can Pass Post UTME with Flying Colours.

Check this out!

1. Buy the OOU Post UTME Past Questions

I must be honest with you, there is no easy hack around passing Olabisi Onabanjo University Post UTME Exam than making a thorough study with current OOU Post UTME Past Questions.

And you will agree with me that nothing good common easy and success is not cheap. Don’t get this twisted, getting the Past questions doesn’t mean that is the exam, but it gives you clue of what the questions are likely to be. This because OOU repeats questions every year.

Now, to get the past questions, you don’t need to search elsewhere for it, you can get it here for #1000 which is cheaper than the normal price (2000 Naira) it been sold.

I tell you it will be very terrible to hear that you allow this opportunity to slip through your fingers.

Why not hurry now and get your Now while the offer lasts.

2. Know the Nature of the Examinations

Next is to know the nature of the examinations. OOU uses CBT format, unlike some other universities that conduct handwritten exams.

So, just like the way you wrote your Jamb, that is the same format this post UTME will come. And like I told you earlier, you will have 50 questions to answer in total.

For instance, if you are a law student aspirant, just expect about 10 questions each from English Language, Economics, Government, Mathematics, and Current Affairs.

So, get yourself acquainted with the basics of the computer system and practice often because practice makes perfect.

3. Ensure you get to the Venue on time

Once OOU releases the update for OOU Post UTME Examinations, the venue where each faculty exam will be conducted will be specified. So that is why it’s important you visit back for the update as soon as Jamb results come out.

Once you see your venue, it is advisable you visit the university even before the day you are to write, locate the venue and make plans to get there the next day at least two hours before the exam time.

This will help you conduct yourself and relax. And it can also ease tension and anxiety.

4. Set Your Standard

This is very important. when you set goals and standards, it is always difficult for you to deviate from them. So, set a target of what you will score. Since the total make is 100, you can set a limit of 85 or 90.

Although anybody you tell that will assume that you are bragging, that is not called bragging.

It will help you work towards your goal (that’s if you are really sincere with your goal).

5. Attend Post UTME lectures

Some departments and fellowships in the university sometimes organize post UTME lectures for aspirants. So you can take advantage of it. Attending these lectures will help you check yourself and know hoe prepared you are for the examination.

6. Provide Correct Answers

This is very important. the way you answer your questions can determine if you will pass or not. It doesn’t matter if you know the answers or not, if you don’t answer correctly, you will fail.

Here is the secret!

Answer the ones you are sure of first before the ones you don’t know. This will make you avoid wasting time unnecessarily.

7. Adhere to Instruction

Another very relevant step is taking and obeying instructions to the core. OOU puts down instructions on how you can write any examination, and you will start failing if you don’t understand the information.

So, it is expedient for you to read the instructions before you can start answering your questions.
