The European Commission invites young people around the world to play an active role in this year’s JED. We are looking for 15 extraordinary young people between the ages of 21 and 26 who can demonstrate the strong influence of young people on development.
The Young Leaders program consists of a 10-day visit to Brussels, where young leaders will meet EU experts and stakeholders and take a leading role in the GNI program, including intervention at various meetings alongside world leaders.
Every year, the European Development Days (EDD) brings together the development community to exchange ideas and experiences to stimulate new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. JED is a participatory program.

Eligibility for EDD Young Leaders Programme
To be selected for an EU Leadership Program, you must meet the following requirements.

- You must be willing to share your views and experiences in high-level debates with world leaders and other development change actors.
- They must play an active role in the fight for gender equality and the empowerment of women at the local, national, or regional levels.
