About Erasmus Mundus Scholarships
The Erasmus Mundus Scholarships, funded by the European Union, are exclusively awarded to students coming from both EU and non-EU countries that have been selected to attend one of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes at Masters or Doctorate level.
Field of Study
The field(s) of study covered are Agriculture and Veterinary, Engineering, manufacturing and Construction, Health and Welfare, Humanities and Arts, Science, Mathematics and Computing, and Social Sciences, Business and Law.
Also, the Erasmus Mundus Joint scholarship exists for students pursuing a program at the level of Masters and Joint Doctorate.
Scholarship Benefits
The program offers full-time scholarships and/or fellowships that cover the students’ monthly allowance, participation costs, traveling, and insurance costs.
Scholarship amounts can vary according to the level of studies, duration, and the scholar’s nationality (scholarships for non-EU students are higher than for EU students).
Host Nationality
European Universities/Institutions participating under approved Erasmus Mundus Action Joint Programmes. for 2023 Session, the Scholarships Institutions are where the scholarship is obtainable.

About 116 Masters courses and 29 Joint Doctorate courses are supported by scholarships.
Eligible Nationality
Students of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship. EMMC student scholarships can be offered to students from any region of the world – however, no more than 3 from the same country or with the same nationality will be awarded in the same intake. The scholarship’s terms depend on the student’s country of origin/residence.
In this year, the scholarship will be in categories:
Category A Scholarships: Nationals from other countries than the European Union Member States and Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein all together.
Category B Scholarships: Nationals from the European Union Member States, or from Switzerland, Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarships Application Deadline:
The deadline varies depending on the program but falls around October to January. However, the Course usually starts to August-September the following year.
