About the Tulane University Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Awards 

Ranked 41st in the 2021 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, Tulane University is a private research university with the purpose is to creating, communicating, and conserving knowledge in order to enrich the capacity of individuals, organizations, and communities to think, learn, and to act and lead with integrity and wisdom.

Tulane offers various need- and merit-based scholarship opportunities for international students.

Tulane offers up to $23,000 in need-based financial aid to international students who qualify and who have not already been awarded that amount or more in merit scholarships. Students must reapply for need-based aid every year.


  • Students from and studying in Sub-Saharan African countries are eligible to apply.
  • Any undergraduate degree programme offered at Tulane University is eligible to apply for.
  • The applicants must have enrolled in a full-time undergraduate programme at Tulane.

How to apply for Tulane University Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Awards

To apply, you must submit a CSS Profile and all necessary supporting documents. It is highly recommended you do so by 15 February.
