Fulbright TEA offers academic seminars on methodologies and educational strategies, curricular development, lesson planning and training in instructional technology. Intensive English instruction will be offered to teachers who need to practice more.

The program will include general academic seminars focused on new teaching methodologies, content-based teaching, project-based learning, the integration of thematic topics in the curricula, lesson planning, and teacher training. About The Tea Program

Level/Field of Study

The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program is a six-week non-degree, non-credit academic program.

Teaching disciplines of the Fulbright TEA program are as follows:

English or English as a Foreign Language (EFL)
Social Studies (social studies, civics, history, geography, etc.)
Mathematics
Science
Special Education teachers in the disciplines listed above

Host Nationality

The Tea program is hosted in Cambodia.

The Tea Program is open to only Cambodian citizens and residents.

Eligibility For The Tea Program

In order to be eligible, you need to:

Be current secondary school-level, full-time teachers in a school that serves a primarily local (not expatriate) population;
Have five or more years of classroom experience in Fulbright TEA teaching disciplines: English, EFL, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, or Special Education;
Be citizens of and residents in Cambodia;
Have earned a bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
Obtain a minimum score of 450 on paper-based TOEFL or equivalent English language examination. Please note that candidates do not need to take the test before applying

Deadline For The Application of Tea Program
