Who Is Eligible For the Wuhan University CSC Scholarship?

If you are interested in this scholarship, you have to meet the following criteria.

Scholarship Qualifications

To qualify for this scholarship, you have to meet the criteria below.

Claimants must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship for new students.
Applicants must be applying for a Master’s degree and should be under 35 years old with a Bachelor’s degree.
Candidates who apply for a doctoral degree should be under 40 years old and have a Master’s degree.
Applicants for English-medium programs must provide a score report of the English Language test; TOEFL requires 80, IELTS requires 5.5.
For Chinese-medium programs, you should have at least an HSK level four certificate (Chinese Proficiency Test) when applying.
As a Native English-speaking applicant, you can be exempted from providing the above English proficiency certificate.
Applicants applying for the English-medium graduate program of clinical medicine must have HSK Level four or above certificate, and those who have not reached HSK Level four can apply to take Chinese language training courses for one year, and then move on to their degree study after meeting the requirement.
Applicants who meet HSK level five or above can apply for the major study directly, those who have not reached HSK level five can apply to take Chinese language training courses for one year, and then move on to their degree study after meeting the requirement.
Candidates whose native language is Chinese or can provide proof of studying at a previous institution where the teaching language is Chinese can apply for the HSK test waiver for further approval from Wuhan University.

Application documents required

Prospective diploma recipients should submit an official pre-graduation certificate, transcript, and on-school performance certificate issued by your current school, the pre-graduation certificate should prove not only your current student status but also the expected degree certificate and graduation date.
Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (written in Chinese or English).
Application Form for International Scholars and Students of Wuhan University (written in Chinese or English).
Notarized highest diploma(degree certificate) and transcripts（the original and copy of each one, issued directly by your school/university or public notary office with an official stamp.
Documents in languages other than Chinese or English should attach notarized Chinese or English translations. (Bachelor Degree is required for Master programs and a Master Degree is required for Doctoral programs).
Study Plan, within 800 words, written in Chinese or in English.

Important Notice

Those applicants who do not receive our email notice around April 15^th have failed the preliminary evaluation of the university.
The school will not accept incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant.
The Physical examinations must cover all the items on the list of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
Note that there will be no reservation for you if you cannot register before the deadline (registration time will be notified on the admission notice).

This scholarship only supports graduate students. It supports master’s students for no more than three years, or doctoral students for no more than four years.

When is the Scholarship Application Deadline?

Application commences from the beginning of January to March 31st, 2022. All documents submitted online after the deadline of March 31st will not be accepted.

The Pre-admission Name List of the program will be announced on the Wuhan University website around the end of May 2022.

Note that, if you do not receive an email notification from the scholarship board around April 15^th, it means you have failed the preliminary evaluation of the university.

Finally, the result of the scholarship winners will be informed at the end of July 2022, and the official admission document will be delivered at that time.
