GAFS-AIT Scholarship for International Students in Thailand

The Asian Institute of Technology is calling for a call for the GAFS-AIT International Student Scholarship in Thailand for the 2022 academic session.

For qualified applicants with outstanding bachelor’s degrees, two partial scholarships are available to complete a master’s degree in gender and fisheries.

A scholarship is available to study these two university programs within the School of Environment, Resources, and Development (SERD): aquaculture and aquatic resource management; and gender and development studies.

Scholarship Worth

Each GAFS-AIT scholarship program will cover the tuition fees for 15 credits as a GAFS-AIT scholarship. Exceptional candidates may get additional fellowship credits from AIT.

Eligibility for GAFS-AIT Scholarship 2022

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Good command of English, as required by the AIT
• Have a good record of studying in a bachelor’s degree
• Meet the general eligibility criteria for the ACI (see ait.ac.th).
• Must be an international student.
  Please write your interest in the gender and fisheries study in your personal statement on your application form.

• Admission Requirements: To study a master’s degree applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, undergraduate grades significantly above average, and the minimum GPA requirement for admission. Applicant must have at least 3 years of work experience in areas related to the academic program at AIT.
• Language Requirement: Applicants admitted with conditions need to satisfy the English language requirement of 6.0 AIT-EET
