Eligibility for Georgia Tech University Scholarships

  • Generally, students who entered Georgia Tech as freshmen are limited to receiving institutional scholarships for the first eight (8) terms of full-time enrollment. During an academic year, scholarships are generally awarded for two (2) semesters (Fall, Spring, or Summer).
  •  A transfer student’s term limit eligibility will be determined on an individual basis depending upon the hours transferred.

#1. Presidential Scholarship

The Stamps President’s Scholars Program is Georgia Tech’s premier merit-based scholarship. Recipients are selected from the top applicants for admission to Georgia Tech based on demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, progress, and service as described on the Stamps President’s Scholars Program web page.

From the applicant pool, students selected as semi-finalists submit a one-page resume before being interviewed. The top semi-finalists are named finalists and invited, with their parents, to campus for additional interviews and an information weekend in March.

This Georgia Tech University scholarship is one of the best rewards Georgia Tech offers. It offers recipients a full study discount of up to four years.
