VLIR-UOS offers masters scholarships to students from Ghana and other developing countries in Africa and around the world so they can pursue a training and master’s programme in Belgium.
Annually, VLIR-UOS awards about 150-180 scholarships to fresh master’s students and about 70 scholarships to training participants.These scholarships have been known to cover all related expenses. The Ocean and Lakes Scholarship Programme is an educational sponsorship programme offered by a network of three universities in Belgium; Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB, Free University of Brussel), Universiteit Antwerp (University of Antwerp) and Universiteit Gent (University of Ghent).
