This CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Programme provides an opportunity for international students to pursue doctoral degrees at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) or Institutes of CAS around China.

Scholarship Value: Fellowship awardees will receive a monthly stipend (to cover accommodation and other living expenses, local travel expenses and health insurance) of RMB 7,000 or RMB 8,000. All awardees will also be provided tuition and application fee waivers.

Kent Business School International Research Scholarship in USA

The University of Kent is glad to announce Kent Business School International Research Scholarships for PhD students who intend to study at Kent Business School receive financial support in return for undertaking some part-time teaching. This is a three-year PhD Scholarship for Ghanaian students and other international students that includes overseas tuition fees and a stipend of £14,777 per annum.

Scholarship Value: £14,777 per annum

Victoria University of Wellington Colin Aikman Award in New Zealand

Applications are welcome for the Colin Aikman Award for International Student funded by the Victoria University of Wellington. HEC Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Scholarship Program for International Students, Australia

Macquarie University is glad to offer the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Scholarship Program. The scholarship is available for international students to undertake a direct entry 3-year PhD program.

Scholarship Value: This is one of the Ghanaian PhD Scholarship and it covers the following:

• International student tuition fees at Macquarie University for up to 4 years.
• A stipend of $27,596 per annum, tax-free, paid pro-rata (current rate, subject to change).
• Single rate Overseas Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the program (packaged with stipend).

Graduate Research Assistantship in Developing Countries (GRAID) Program in Germany

The International Mathematical Union is glad to announce the IMU/CDC Graduate Research Assistantship in Developing Countries (GRAID) Program. The scholarship program is open to graduate, PhD students of emerging research groups working in Developing Countries.

Macquarie University is glad to offer the National Research and Innovation Agency of Uruguay and Macquarie Co-Funded Scholarship Program. The scholarship is available to international students.

Level/Field of Study: This scholarship is for PhD, MRes, MRes Y2+PhD programs for courses approved by the agency.

35 International PhD Scholarships at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand

Applications are invited from graduates of any university within or outside of New Zealand who intend to enroll full time for a Doctorate (PhD) at Victoria University or who have commenced their doctoral study at Victoria University.

Applications are welcome for Doctoral Fellowships at the Max Planck Sciences Po Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies.

MaxPo’s research investigates how individuals, organizations, and nation-states are coping with the new forms of economic and social instability that have developed in Western societies as a result of policy shifts, the expansion of markets, technological advances, and cultural changes.

Level/Field of Study: Candidates will hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) and have received training in the following disciplines: history, sociology, or political science, with additional training in related fields to apply for this PhD program.

Host/Eligible National: MaxPo is a Franco-German Center in the Social Sciences hosted by France and German.

Scholarship Value: Successful applicants will receive 2,188 euros (monthly gross salary); three-year contract starting in October; including a 12-week period of administrative service to MaxPo and research stay at the IMPRS-SPCE in Cologne.

International Student Fellowship at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany

Applications are welcome for International Student Fellowship at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. The short-term stipend gives talented international students an opportunity to become familiar with a foreign lab, the research topics of the SFB 874 and to learn the skills they need to begin a PhD project in the SFB.

Level/Field of Study: Applicants must hold a Master’s, Diploma or equivalent degree in neuroscience, biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, psychology or other neuroscience-related fields, including an experimental thesis to be eligible for this PhD program.

ECNU Full and Partial Confucius Institute Scholarship in China

The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) is happy to announce the “Confucius Institute Scholarship” (CIS) at East China Normal University (ECNU) for the year 2022. Scholarships are available for Non-Chinese citizens.

Level/Field of Study: This scholarship is available to PhD students who achieved outstanding records in academic and Chinese language proficiency.

Danish Government Scholarship at the University of Southern Denmark

The University of Southern Denmark offers the Danish Government Scholarship – supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science – to certain applicants in recognition of the important investment that overseas students make during their education.

This PhD Scholarships for Researchers from the South is open to KU Leuven promoters for a 4 year PhD project.
