GIIDAE International Scholarships Eligibility
Applicants must normally hold a good honorary degree (or the equivalent of a university outside the UK).
GIIDAE 2022 SCHOLARSHIPS INCLUDE:
- GIIDAE International Scholarship: The GIIDAE International Scholarship offers 5 scholarships in the amount of £3,000 in the form of a reduction in tuition for each holder of a GIIDAE Diploma.
- GIIDAE International Scholarship (Japan): The GIIDAE International Scholarship: Japan recognizes academic excellence and offers five earning-related awards of £1,000 in the form of study reduction.
- GIIDAE International Scholarship (Nigeria): GIIDAE International Scholarship: Nigeria offers 10 scholarships of £1,500 to cover tuition.
- GIIDAE International Fellowship (Pakistan): This fellowship is designed to foster outstanding Pakistani students seeking their careers in international development and agricultural development at one of Britain’s top universities.
- GIIDAE International Fellowship (India): The fellowship provides future Indian leaders and influencers in the fields of international development, agriculture and applied economics with a unique opportunity to take a course at a prestigious UK university.
- GIIDAE International Fellowship (Indonesia): The GIIDAE International Fellowship: Indonesia offers 5 scholarships for 11-week English courses. This scholarship is designed to provide hands-on support and learning opportunities to improve language skills before you begin our English-language program prior to your studies.
- GIIDAE International Fellowship (South Korea): GIIDAE International Fellowship: South Korea offers 2 scholarships of £2,000 in the form of study reductions. Given South Korea’s growing importance as a foreign aid donor, this scholarship could be of particular interest to students seeking a degree in agricultural economics, economics and food marketing or development finance.
- GIIDAE International Fellowship (North America): The GIIDAE International Fellowship: North America offers 5 scholarships in the form of a tuition reduction based on the academic value of £3,000.
- GIIDAE UK / EU Scholarship: The GIIDAE UK / EU Scholarship offers 20 scholarships in the amount of £1,000 in the form of a reduction in tuition related to academic achievements. This scholarship aims to support postgraduate opportunities for the UK and European students seeking a career in the development sector.

How to Apply
Applicants whose previous education was not primarily English will be asked to explain their English language skills. The normal requirements are:
- British Council International – English Language Test Score (IELTS): 6.5
- Test of English as a Foreign Language – (TOEFL) (paper-based version): 570; (internet-based test): 88
- Cambridge UCLES Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): C
- Test of English for Educational Purposes (TEEP): 6.5
