Global Digital Art Prize at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore 2023

The Institute for Science and Technology for Humanity (NISTH) and the School of Art, Design, and Media offer the NTU Global Digital Art Prize at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. This award is available to all artists who live at the time of application in a country that is at least 18 years old.

The purpose of this award is to promote and catalyze the tremendous creative potential of art, culture, and digital technologies for improving the human condition in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Scholarship Worth

NTU’s prestigious GDAP is priced at  SGD50,000 ($35,000).

Eligibility: 

In order to be eligible, applicants must meet all eligibility criteria:

  • The NTU-GDAP is open to all living artists from the age of 18 from every country.
  • The “Local Students” category only welcomes applications from students who are studying full-time or part-time in Singapore.
  • A student studying a subject may be eligible.
  • There are two categories of artists who can submit their work to International Professionals and Local Students.
  • The category International Professionals welcomes all artists from all over the world.

Application Deadline

Shortlisted and winning artists will have their works exhibited in a special event connected with a major symposium on the same theme, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution,” that will be hosted by NISTH in October.

Unfortunately, this year’s NTU Global Digital Art Prize application is over, as the shortlisted candidates have been announced, however when the closing date falls in February annually.

Notwithstanding, the showcase of all 14 shortlisted works will run from 11 October to 30 November a the Nanyang Technological University School of Art, Design, and Media Gallery.
