Korean Government Scholarship is a Fully Funded Scholarship and will cover all of the costs of the candidates. A year ago 700 students were chosen for a grant in Korea.

How Much Is The GKS Scholarship worth?

NIIED and/or training institutions are responsible for airfare, room, and board, as well as travel insurance for the duration of the program.
Participants are responsible for transportation within their country, visa fees, etc.

Who Can Apply For The GKS Scholarships Program? | Eligibility

To be eligible for GKS Scholarships program, the Applicant must be:

Being a citizen of a country in Africa or Latin America
Studying at a university/college in an African or Latin American country as a second to
fourth-year student
English fluently
* Korean MA candidates have priority.
Be in good mental and physical health
Have the ability and willingness to adapt to Korean culture and life

Level/Field of Study

Global Korea Summer Scholarship 2023 covers Undergraduate, Short course. The candidate can currently study in a university field, such as computer engineering, game engineering or digital.

How to Apply for Global Korea Summer Scholarship 2023

Interested candidates should contact their preferred universities/training institutions to apply for this scholarship.

Choose one of the institutions listed according to your major. You are ineligible to apply to more than one university. Multiple applications will be excluded during the final selection process.
Submit all required documents to the application office of the chosen institution.
You will be invited for an interview if you pass the document screening process. Interviews will be conducted by either Skype or phone.
The chosen institution will nominate students to NIIED, which will make the final decisions and announce the successful applicants for each university.
