Golden LEAF Foundation is pleased to announce its Golden LEAF Scholarship Programs. There are two kinds of scholarship programs as Golden LEAF Scholars Program to attend NC 4-year colleges or universities and the Golden LEAF Scholars Program — 2 Year Colleges to attend N.C. Community Colleges.

The Golden LEAF Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 1999 to assist transform North Carolina’s economy. The Golden LEAF Foundation operates in partnership with governmental entities, educational institutions, economic development associations and nonprofits to realize its mission.

Golden LEAF has been a steady hand providing resources to increase the economic opportunity for the state’s rural and economically distressed communities through a variety of grantmaking including building human infrastructure through workforce training and scholarships. Since its inception, the Golden LEAF Foundation has awarded over $41 million to help more than 19,200 students from rural North Carolina attend the state’s colleges and universities.

What You Need To Know About The Golden LEAF Scholarship

Scholarships are available to students from qualifying counties, who demonstrate financial need, to help them attend college at participating North Carolina public or private institutions or community colleges. Golden LEAF’s goal is for scholarship students to gain the talent, knowledge, and skills needed to help their communities thrive.

LEVEL / FIELD OF STUDY

The Golden LEAF Scholarship program is intended to help North Carolinians attend to the nation’s community colleges.

HOST NATIONALITY:

This scholarship is to be taken in the U.S.A. If you are an international student and you wish to study in the united state of America, this is for you the best scholarships obtainable for study in the United States of America

ELIGIBLE NATIONALITY:

The scholarship is available to all U.S citizens.

Golden LEAF Scholarship Benefits:

High school seniors are eligible for a four-year scholarship totaling $12,000 ($3,000 a year over four years). Community college transfer students are eligible for $3,000 a year for up to three years. Approximately 215 scholarships will be awarded each year.

High school seniors or community college transfer students intending to attend some of the participating universities or colleges that live at a qualifying County and show financial need are eligible to apply.

  • For Golden LEAF Scholars Program – Two Year Colleges to attend N.C. Community Colleges

students attending or planning to attend some of North Carolina’s participating community schools who reside at a qualifying county and demonstrate financial need are eligible to apply.
