Students who are getting their secondary education at home are encouraged to apply, and the University of New Hampshire values the unique viewpoint that homeschooled students provide to their classroom and community. With up to two million kids completing their secondary education from home, many see it as just another valid and well-established method of preparing for college or university.
If you receive your secondary school education from your parents or through an official distance learning program, you are a homeschooled student. Our admissions standards for homeschooled kids are the same as those for students who received their diploma from a typical private secondary school or the local public school system.
