  • Applying for a license with a firearm you will also pass an eight-hour “Power to Arrest” course and a 14-hour course on carrying and using firearms.

The following jobs are acceptable as an investigative work: sworn law enforcement officer, military/police officer. Also, working under a licensed PI, attorney, repossession firm, insurance agency, or arson investigation unit as an investigator.
