You’re in a regular group text message, not an iMessage conversation, if you don’t see the Leave this Conversation button. Group texts require your phone carrier’s text messaging plan, and exiting a discussion isn’t possible because iPhones can’t directly notify other iPhones they want to depart.
Open the Messages app on your iPhone and pick the group text you want to block. Then select details from the profile icons at the top of your screen. Finally, scroll down and tap the Leave Conversation slider.
Unfortunately, unlike iPhones, Android phones do not allow you to send a group text message. Even if you can’t completely remove yourself from a group chat, you can still silence notifications from it. You’ll no longer receive notifications, but you’ll still be able to utilize the group text.
Remember that when messages seem green rather than blue, the phone is attempting to send a standard SMS text message rather than an iMessage. It’s also worth knowing that blocked iMessages and text messages go unanswered; if you’ve been blocked, the recipient will never receive them.
If you and the person you’ve blocked are both in a group conversation, you’ll be notified before you join it. You’ll be able to view their messages and they’ll be able to see yours if you want to enter a group conversation with the person you blocked.
