The ICRC Pakistan presents the 6th edition of the annual bilingual essay writing competition. The selection committee selects the top 3 trials, and the winners receive cash prizes. The first prize is 80000 / -, the second is 60000 / – and the third is 40000 / -.

The International Committee of the Red Cross is a humanitarian institution based in Geneva, Switzerland, and a three-time Nobel Prize Laureate.
The work of the ICRC is based on the Geneva Conventions of 1949, their Additional Protocols, its Statutes, those of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and the resolutions of the International Conferences of the Red Cross.
The ICRC is an independent, neutral organization ensuring humanitarian protection and help for war and armed violence victims. It takes action in response to emergencies and promotes respect for international humanitarian law and its implementation in national law.

Eligibility for the ICRC Essay Competition
- There is no template, and submissions can follow any appropriate format. Participants can use citation and formatting styles (for example, Chicago Manual, APA, MLA, etc.) based on their preferences. However, all the material mentioned should be included in the footnotes.
- Plagiarism up to 10% is acceptable. According to the plagiarism report, anything over 10% will be penalized either by deduction of marks or disqualification.
- The competition is open to all citizens of Pakistan, including current and retired civil servants, who apply for the ICRC Red Cross competition 2023 on April 26, 2023.
