About International Engagement Scholarships
Every semester International Education & Engagement allocates money to students who are greatly involved in educating others about their home country/culture or who wish to study abroad while maintaining a high GPA. The money for these scholarships comes from the Student Association and the UW System Fund.

The University of Wisconsin–Madison, the flagship campus of the University of Wisconsin System, is a large, four-year research university comprising twenty associated colleges and schools.
UW–Madison was a founding member of the Association of American Universities. In the fiscal year 2018, the school received $1.206 billion in research and development (R&D) funding, placing it eighth in the U.S. among institutions of higher education.[14] Its research programs were fourth in the number of patents issued in 2010.
Who is eligible for the International Education Scholarships
Eligible Countries:
- International
School of study
- Applicants must be current full-time UWL undergraduate students.
SAT/ACT requirement
- Applicants must have an SAT score between 1120 and 1305or an ACT score of 23 and 27.
Language requirement
- Applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:TOEFL IBT – 79
- TOEFL PBT – 550
- IELTS – 6.0
- PTE – 60
- Duolingo – 110

Interested students are required to apply through the exclusive University of Wisconsin system. The winners of the scholarship will be chosen on their cumulative grade point average.
