Andrew began playing football for the Rebels in high school under Don Shows and stayed with them until he graduated high school.
He was selected as a first-team Freshman All-American after starting every game as a redshirt freshman in 2002. During the 2003 season, he opened all 14 games and attempted to gain access with 1,008 snaps with 105 critical blocks, specifically 82 knockdowns.
