The Republic of Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), formerly the Bureau of Immigration & Naturalization (BIN) is charged with the primary responsibility for implementing and enforcing the Alien and Nationality Law of Liberia.

AIRPORT VISA AS STATED BY THE LIBERIA IMMIGRATION LAW

Visa on Arrival (VoA) is issued at the port of entry in Liberia according to the immigration news.

Note: One would only be able to proceed to the Republic of Liberia with a legitimate‘Visa on Arrival Approval Letter.’

The VoA facility to guests who might not be able to get a visa at Liberia’s Missions or Embassies in countries of residence because of the absence of a Liberian mission or there’s an urgency in meeting a business or work obligation in the Republic of Liberia.

HOW TO APPLY FOR VISA ON ARRIVAL IN LIBERIA AS RELEASED TOGETHER WITH THE NEWS OF LIBERIA IMMIGRATION RECRUITMENT 2022.

Step 1: Get Visa on Arrival Approval Letter

Visa on Arrival approval letter can be gotten in two ways like application through email or face to face or through a representative or relative in the Republic of Liberia.

APPLYING THROUGH EMAIL ACCORDING TO LIBERIA IMMIGRATION NEWS

Applicant/Representative writes an application letter to The General commissioner of Immigration service in Liberia, stating why he/she wants a VoA.

The letter would be sent to the subsequent email address: [email protected] With the following information:

Proposed date of visit
Proposed port of entry
Flight itinerary
Address in Liberia or Hotel Reservation
Attach the following documents:

Note: immediately it is approved, a letter will be forwarded to your email with a copy sent to the Airline stated in your application and Immigration port of entry.

APPLYING THROUGH YOUR REPRESENTATIVE IN LIBERIA

Make sure you stay in contact with your Representative (Business partners, Company Representative, Protocol/Liaison Officer, etc) in Liberia.

The Representative files a formal request for Visa on Arrival Approval on your behalf by writing an application letter to The Commissioner General of Immigration, stating the following:

Name of Applicant indicating Nationality, Passport number of visitor, Purpose of visit, Proposed date of visit, Proposed port of entry, Proposed airline,

Flight itinerary, Address in Liberia, Email address of the visitor, Acceptance of Immigration Responsibility
3. The representative shall attach the subsequent documents in support of the application form
Copy of visitor’s passport data page
Copy of Airline Return ticket Reservation.

Note: once Approval Letter is obtained,(Hard Copy) by your representative, copies of the same document will be forwarded to the Airline stated in the application and Immigration port of entry,

Step 2: Pay for Visa on Arrival

Fill in the application form along with your correct details and payment online here.

Online Payment might also be created at the period of arrival subject to presentation of Visa on Arrival Approval Letter.
Master Card, Visa, and American Express card are acceptable.

Step 3: reach the Port of Entry and proceed for Immigration Clearance after arrival at the Port of Entry, proceed to the desk marked ‘Visa on Arrival’ for issuance of entry Visa.

Present the listed documents in physical copy at the Port of Entry:

Visa Approval Letter (Pre-approved visa letter), valid for fourteen days from the date of issue

Evidence of online payment
Valid Passport with a minimum of six months validity
Valid return ticket
Two recent passports sized photographs
Timeline:
