How to Apply for a University in Turkey

The application process to study at low tuition in Turkish universities is simple and well defined. International students must apply with a standard high school diploma, a four-year degree from an institution, or the equivalent qualification from their home country.

If you didn’t know, the admissions process is unique to whichever degree program you’re interested in; however, there are a bunch of general conditions you have to take into consideration–for the average undergraduate student, there are:

  • Fully completed application form
  • Academic transcript/proof of graduation
  • An English language proficiency score, if studying in English
  • A personal statement
  • Proof of funds
  • Proof of application fee payment (usually between US$35-100)

Applicants will need to need to log on to www.evisa.gov.tr, provide the requested information, (after the application is approved) make an online payment and download their e-Visa.
