This scholarship program was established by RCI Foundation and is aimed at assisting students currently enrolled in an Engineering, architecture, construction or building sciences postsecondary program.

This is a program funded by the Department of Energy’s Office of Science and National Nuclear Security Administration.

It trains scientists for the purpose of meeting the nation’s workforce needs and helping to bring into existence, a nationwide interdisciplinary community.

The EADB Math, Science, Technology and Engineering University Scholarship Program have been launched by the East African Development Bank in partnership with The Africa-America Institute.

Boston University Robert Noyce Scholarship Programs

Scholarship Description

This scholarship program in Mathematics is a new initiative aimed at preparing middle school and high school mathematics teachers.

With funding from the National Science Foundation and the School of Education and in collaboration with the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the six local school districts, the Noyce Program will train up to 13 graduate students a year to become mathematics teachers, and a 100% tuition support is given to Noyce scholars.

The one-year program leads to initial teacher licensure and a master’s degree. In exchange, Noyce Scholars are mandated to commit to teaching for a minimum of two years in a high-need district upon successful completion of the teacher certification program.
