Logistics Association offers “Military Commanders’ Scholarship Fund” for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

The annual program is open to assist children of select active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military who plan to continue their education in college.

The mission of the Association is to promote, protect, and enhance the military resale and quality of life benefits on behalf of our members and the military community. The winning candidates will receive a one-time award up to $5,000.

The requirements of this scholarship fluctuate annually. Sometimes they set their conditions so high and sometimes, they bring it down a little,  depending on the number of applicants and the average analysis of those applicants.

Students may choose any accredited college to attend. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 and be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll for the first time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.

Up to three awards for each service branch (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard) are awarded every year.

Winning the scholarship depends on excellence. Many students have failed because they took it for granted and thought since it’s a military scholarship its requirement wouldn’t be so difficult, but its not really the case.

Applicants To The Military Commanders’ Scholarship Fund Must:

Be dependent children of active duty, reserve, National Guard, or retired members of the United States military who hold valid Exchange & Commissary shopping privileges at the time of application.

Be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll for the first time in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, and have a minimum cumulative 5-grade point average on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent at the time of application.

The Adrian & Corena Swanier Education Scholarship was established in 2010 to recognize the contributions and provide educational help for our Military Children.

This program will award a $1,000 Scholarship for use towards a four-year degree, vocational, or technical certificate. Applicants must be a dependent, unmarried child under age 21 (23 if enrolled as a full-time student).

AFAS GENERAL HENRY H. ARNOLD EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAM

The General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program is competitive in its need-based selection criteria, uniquely tailored to recognize the proper weighing of family income and education cost factors.

AIR FORCE ROTC SCHOLARSHIP

The American Legion Auxiliary annually provides one Junior member with a scholarship in each of the five American Legion Auxiliary divisions. The applicant must have held membership in the American Legion.
