The International Mathematical Union is pleased to announce the IMU/CDC Graduate Research Assistantship in Developing Countries (GRAID) Program 2021.

Host/Eligible Nationality:

This program is taken and hosted in Germany and is available to Pakistani students.

Level/Field of study:

The scholarship is open for graduate, Ph.D., and Master’s program. The scholarship will be awarded in the field of mathematics.

Scholarship worth:

The amount of the stipend per graduate research assistant should not exceed USD 3,500 per year.

#2. University of Oldenburg International Doctoral Scholarship DAAD Contact Grants in Germany

The University of Oldenburg scholarship is one of the German scholarships for Pakistani students. It aims to strengthen its international ties and to increase the number of international doctoral candidates. That’s why they are pleased to offer the DAAD Contact Grants.

Host/Eligible Nationality:

Scholarships are hosted and financed by the Scholarship and Supervision Programme for International Doctoral Candidates of the German Academic Exchange Service. They are open to Pakistani students and other international students.

Level/Field  of study:

The scholarships are open to the doctoral program.

Scholarship worth:

Beneficiaries are given a doctoral grant and in addition to the doctoral grant, successful applicants may also earn a robust salary of 450 EUR per month as supplementary income/ income from a part-time job.

#3. The University of Koblenz and Landau International STIBET Scholarship in Germany 

University of Koblenz and Landau is offering scholarships for international students to pursue a degree program. This is one of the German scholarships for Pakistani students. The purpose of this scholarship is to support the international graduate and postgraduate students to study at the university in Germany.

Host/Eligible Nationality:

The scholarship is hosted by the University of Koblenz-Landau.  It is the only university that offers teacher training courses for all school types.

Level/Field of study:

The scholarship is available to pursue a graduate & postgraduate degree program and it is available to study all available courses in the university.

Scholarship worth:

The scholarship is worth up to 250 and 300 Euros per month.

#4. International Student Fellowship at Ruhr University Bochum Germany

Applications are invited for International Student Fellowship at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. Students from all countries are welcome to apply.

Level/Field of study:

Fellowships are available to pursue PhD programs.

Scholarship worth:

The scheme offers a scholarship of 1300 € for a maximum of 6 months (the scholarship holder has to bear the cost of health insurance).

#5. MaxPo Doctoral Fellowships for International Students in Germany

Applications are invited for Doctoral Fellowships at the Max Planck Sciences Po Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies.

Host/Eligible Nationality:

The scholarship is hosted in Germany and there is no nationality requirement; these fellowships are available for students of all nationalities. Pakistani students and other international students are eligible to apply.

Level/Field of study:

Positions are open for PhD programs.  PhD project proposal should fit into one of the two research groups at MaxPo. We welcome original and independent proposals. Research topics should be situated in economic sociology, political economy, or economic or political history.

Scholarship worth:

Beneficiaries receive 2,188 euros (monthly gross salary); three-year contract starting in October 2021; including a 12-week period of administrative service to MaxPo and research stay at the IMPRS-SPCE in Cologne.

#6. Full TU Berlin Summer University Scholarships in Germany

The TU Berlin Summer University is one of one German scholarship for Pakistani students awarding Summer University Scholarships to exceptional applicants applying to participate in the 2021 Summer Program from July 22nd to August 16th, 2021.

Host/Eligible Nationality:

The position is offered by TU Berlin as an internationally renowned university in the German capital, in the center of Europe. It is open to all international students. Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply.

Level/Field of study:

The TU Berlin Summer University will be offering scholarships to exceptional applicants applying to participate in the 2021 Summer Program from July 22nd to August 16th, 2021 in the following courses; Entrepreneurship, Satellite Design, 3D Printing, and Robotics.

Scholarship worth:

Scholarship funding is defined in three categories, and not all may apply to you. Most scholars will receive funding from only one category, with a small number of applicants receiving funding in both categories (1) and (2) below:

  • Living expenses support of €1000, supported by the DAAD (multiple scholarships available).
  • Partial travel expenses support (at a fixed rate according to the DAAD guidelines based on the country of origin), supported by the DAAD (multiple scholarships available).
  • The President’s Scholarship, which is a full scholarship including living expenses, travel expenses and free tuition, supported by the TU Berlin. This scholarship will be awarded to one applicant only.

#7. TUM Postdoctoral Fellowship or Ph.D. Student Position in Germany

The Technical University of Munich is one of the German scholarships for Pakistani students. They are now accepting applications for Postdoctoral Fellowship or Ph.D. Student Position in Machine Learning for Patient Data Analysis at the Helmholtz Center Munich (HMGU).

Host/Eligible Nationality:

#9. Heinrich Boll Scholarships in Germany for International Students

The Heinrich Böll Foundation awards some scholarships to international students who gained their university entrance qualification from a school outside of Germany who wish to study a Masters or PhD Degree in Germany.

Host/Eligible Nationality:

This program is hosted by state-recognized Universities in Germany. It is available to Pakistani students and other international students.

Level/Field of study:

The scholarships are to acquire a Masters Degree or PhD Degree in all subjects offered at the recognized universities in Germany.

Scholarship worth:

Masters studies:

Non-EU students: €850 per month plus various individual allowances; tuition fees are in certain cases possible in Germany.

EU students: varies, max. €649 plus €300 book money per month; tuition fees not possible in Germany but possible to a limited extent in other countries.

Ph.D. studies:

Non-EU students: €1,200 per month plus €100 mobility allowance per month, plus various individual allowances; tuition fees are not possible.

EU students: €1350 per month basic scholarship plus €100 per month research costs allowance; tuition fees are not possible in Germany but possible to a limited extent in other countries.

#10. EnerTracks Training Program  for Climate & Energy Enthusiasts 

Host/Eligible Nationality:

To foster international expertise on how to domestically address the energy transformation in low- and middle-income countries, Agora Energiewende in cooperation with the Renewables Academy (RENAC) has developed a training program EnerTracks.

This program which is one of the German scholarships for Pakistani students is organized and taken in Berlin, Germany. Students from Pakistan are eligible to apply.

Each fellow gets to participate in the training sessions that are prepared and held by Agora Energiewende energy experts in Berlin, Germany. And the fellows stand to get the following benefits:

#11. DW Akademie Journalism Masters Scholarships 

Host/Eligible Nationality:

DW Akademie is accepting applications for its International Media Studies program (IMS) in Bonn, Germany.

The program is one of the German scholarships for Pakistani students targeted at students from around the world that want to work in a position of responsibility in journalism or the communications sector.

It especially addresses journalists-in-training, media representatives from radio, TV, online, and print and communication experts. Students from developing countries interested in the Master of Arts degree can apply for scholarships.

#12. KAAD Germany Fellowship Program

KAAD  in partnerships with other countries in the regions to provide scholarship opportunities to citizens who are interested in research.

Host/Eligible Nationality:

The KAAD Germany Fellowship Programme is organized and hosted in Germany. The opportunity is open to Pakistani students and other international students.

Level/Field of study:

Postgraduate (Masters and PhD) scholarship. There is no specific subject-preference.

Scholarship worth:

Applicants who are awarded scholarships for Germany under S1 are helped by KAAD with their Visa-modalities, paid for the flights to Germany and back, provided with language training in Germany prior to their studies, etc.

#13. Technical University of Berlin – BIMoS PhD Award in Germany, 

Host/Eligible Nationality:

Technical University of Berlin – BIMoS PhD Award in Germany, 2019 is offered for PhD, Post Doc degree in the field of Any subject related to Mathematical modeling, simulation.

This scholarship is provided by the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin) and is available to Pakistani students and other international students.

This is another Partially Funded German scholarships for Pakistani students.

#14. Max Planck Society Research Scholarships in Germany

Host/Eligible Nationality:

The Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law which is situated in Germany is offering scholarships to researchers whose primary place of residence is outside of Germany. All international students including students from Pakistan.

Level/Field of study:

Max Planck Society Research Scholarships in Germany, 2021 is offered for PhD, Post Doc degree in the field of Law.

Scholarship worth:

The successful applicants of Max Planck Society Research Scholarships in Germany, 2021 will receive:

  • € 1365.00 per month to doctoral students and between € 2100.00 per month and € 2,300 per month to advanced researchers.
