The Context

Since the end of the Middle Ages, the term “Renaissance man” has paid tribute to well-grounded people in all fields of the arts and sciences and able to tackle problems in a comprehensive way.

This year, the most famous Renaissance man in the world celebrates his 500th birthday: Leonardo da Vinci, the Italian politician who was honored simultaneously as a scientist, engineer, writer, artist, and musician.

Today, highly educated people are more likely to specialize, but in environments where interdisciplinary thinking is always encouraged, people are more likely to;

  • Challenging assumptions and outdated conventions of thought and behavior
  • Discover and discover new areas of artistic, physical and intellectual achievement
  • Develop different and broader visions of yourself.

About Peter Drucker

Peter Drucker, a renowned thinker of the twentieth century, offers a modern example of a Renaissance man in the field of management – even a multidisciplinary theme. At a time when the work of leading organizations was generally considered a challenge of engineering and optimization, he called management “liberal art”.

His best practitioners insisted that they had always used wisdom, self-knowledge, and enlightened understanding, which brought them a liberal education and constantly perfected their “art” through the application and the application.
