The Petronas Scholarship sponsorship is open to students who wish to continue their university studies in institutions of higher education in the following manner:
- Universiti Teknologi Petronas: Complete 1-year Foundation Programme at UTP prior to pursuing the Bachelor’s Degree Programme
- Overseas Universities: Complete up to 24 months of Pre- University Programme in Malaysia prior to pursuing the Bachelor’s Degree Programme overseas.

PESP Scholarship Worth
The Petronas Education Sponsorship Program (PESP) is a fully-funded scholarship that equally covers the student’s tuition fee, welfare, and accommodation.
PESP Scholarship Eligibility
- Malaysian citizens from 17 to 19 years old in 2023.

How to Apply for PESP Scholarship
- All applications must be submitted via the online application system at https://educationsponsorship.petronas.com.my.
- For the PESP application, you won’t be requiring a processing fee.
- Notification of successful candidates for the PYD will be announced via https://educationsponsorship.petronas.com.my. You will need the same username and password for log-in purposes.
