What is Samsung Star Scholarship?
Samsung Star Scholarship 2023 is a scholarship program offered by Samsung Electronics Private Limited for Indian Students as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
However, the scholarship program applies for students of a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNVs) currently pursuing a full-term B. Tech/Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) course in an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in India.
Note, that the duration of the scholarship will be for 1 academic year, which can be extended to three to four years.

What is the Samsung star scholarship Eligibility?
To be eligible for this Samsung Star Scholarship you must meet the following criteria:
- Be an Indian student
- Maintain a Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CPGA) rating of 5 or above.
- Note, the applicant can get a renewal of the scholarship for the 2nd–4th years.
- Samsung Star Scholar Program is open to youths in the field of Technology
- Samsung Electronics Private Limited in India offers this scholarship program.

Documents Required
Your scholarship application must include the following for all scholarships.
Fresh
- Completed Application Form with the self-attested photograph. The Application Form has to be certified and signed by Dean of Academics.
- Self-certified clear copy of Class X and XII CBSE mark’s statement.
- Self-certified clear copy of JEE (Advanced) ranking certificated
- Self-certified clear copy of the Final admission letter from the Institute.
- Original copy for admission/first semester/annual fee receipt deposited at Institute attested and verified by the Institute’s Dean Academic.
- A signed canceled check of the bank account in which the Scholarship amount has to be deposited
- Self-certified clear copy of address proof–Aadhaar Card will only be considered.
- Self-certified clear copy of PAN Card (mandatory).
- Provide a brief write-up on a separate sheet, why you are a qualified candidate for a scholarship, and how you will be impacted if chosen.
Renewal
- Completed Application Form, with a self-attested photograph. The Dean of Academics must certify and sign the Application Form.
- Copy of mark sheets of the previously attended academic year.
- Receipt copy for admission/ first-semester fee deposited at Institute.
- Any additional supporting documentation as noted in the individual scholarship descriptions.

- To protect the program’s integrity, it has clearly defined rules that bind all applicants and other participants of the Program. Applicants are requested to read and understand them to ensure their eligibility carefully.
- All documents including the applicant form and supporting receipts/documents must be attested to and verified by the Institute’s Dean of Academics. Only verified applications with all relevant documents will be accepted and considered eligible by the Selection Committee.
- Applicants must comply with all applicable enrolment and registration deadlines as published.
- Samsung will inform applicants of their selection through individual emails post because of validation of the submitted documents.
- Meeting the minimum application requirements and scholarship criteria does not guarantee the scholarship. Samsung shall award scholarships at its sole discretion. All decisions of Samsung will be binding and final.
- Samsung reserves the absolute right to amend the Program Terms without giving any reasons or prior notice.
