The Schindler Global Award 2022 For International Students

The Schindler Award is open to students from the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and planning programs, who are enrolled in the last year of the Bachelor or a Master’s degree.

Schindler Global Award is an ideas contest designed to ensure students respond to complex situations in cities around the world.

The competition encourages students to test their skills and to help create a dynamic and sustainable urban environment that reflects the spirit of mobility.

Level/Field of Study

The award is available for only a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the areas of landscape architecture, urban design, and urban planning.

Host Nationality

The Schindler Group is a manufacturer of escalators, moving walks and elevators throughout Switzerland.

Schindler manufactures, installs, maintains and modernizes elevators and escalators in a variety of buildings, including residential, commercial and high-rise buildings.

Eligible Nationality

The Schindler Award 2022 is available to students worldwide.

Scholarship Award

Successful candidates of the Schindler Global Award 2022 will receive $105,000 award.

To qualify for this award, you must meet all the following criteria:

The Schindler Award is open to all undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and urban planning of educational institutions offering degrees worldwide.

How to Apply

To apply for the Schindler Global Award, you must meet the following requirements

Each team will receive a registration number at the time of registration.
The contest is anonymous, and this number must identify all submitted documents.
All documents must bear the registration number of the team in the lower right corner.
Any registration containing the names of students or their schools and/or references revealing or showing their identity will be removed from the competition during the preliminary technical examination.
Prior to the jury meetings, a technical examination will be carried out beforehand to ensure that the submissions comply with the competition rules.
All documents must be submitted in digital format in PDF format on the contest website.
An upload link and a submission form will be made available online.
Entrants who are then nominated for an award must submit their original application within three days of the announcement of their appointment.
