The Faculty for the Future program, launched in 2004, awards fellowships to women from developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or Post-doctoral research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields at leading universities worldwide.

About Schlumberger Foundation Fellowship

The Schlumberger Foundation is committed to gender parity in science and recognizes that full access to and participation in a STEM curriculum is essential for the empowerment of women and girls. By facilitating STEM research for women scientists in emerging economies, scientific and technological advances will be enhanced in the local communities and regions from where selected candidates are awarded for this program.

NEW Applicants

If you are a New Applicant and believe you meet all the eligibility criteria, please register below for an account. New applications will be accepted from September 8th to November 5th 2022 for the 2022 Fellowships (the deadline for reference letters is November 11th, 2022).

RENEWAL Applicants

If you are a Renewal Applicant, please enter your login details. Renewal applications will be accepted from September 8th to November 5th, 2020 (the deadline for reference letters is November 11th, 2022).

REFEREES

If you are a Referee, please enter the Username and Password provided in the automatic email you should have received in order to access the reference letter form (see information on passwords below). If you have already used this website in previous years to enter a reference letter, please use the last password you received. You will be prompted to change your password – to do so, please click on “Account Settings” (see below for instructions). All reference letters must be submitted online by 11th November 2022 (for NEW applications and RENEWAL applications).

  • The first time you log onto the application you will see a prompt page stating that your account is restricted.
  • Click on the “Account settings” tab to reset your password.
  • The new password should be at least 10 characters long and contain at least one Uppercase letter (A-Z), one lowercase letter (a-z), one digit (0-9) and one symbol ($&@) 
  • example of password: Science22$. Please store your login details safely for all future access to this site.

(NB: the Username is the one generated by the system when the applicant submitted her application. Please check your mailbox – including Spam or Junk box – for the Username and Password).
