17 Scholarships for Eritrea to Study in UK 2022

Westminster University International Students House (ISH) Fully-funded Scholarships for Developing Countries

This scholarship is awarded jointly with International Students House (ISH) to students from developing countries studying for a full-time Masters in a subject within the Westminster Business School in the 2022 session.

Application Deadline: 31st May annually

RUFORUM MasterCard Undergraduate & Masters Scholarships  for African Students

The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) is partnering with the MasterCard Foundation, Gulu University, and Egerton University to implement an eight-year fully funded program that would enhance the application of science, technology, business, and innovation for rural agriculture.

Number of Awardees: 50 Undergraduate and 20 Masters Scholarships would be awarded

University of St Andrews Undergraduate Scholarships  for International Students

These Eritrean Scholarships are for international students who will be studying at St Andrew’s for an undergraduate degree in any field of study. However, this scholarship is not available to students applying for BA International Honours)

Scholarship Value: Between £1,000 and £4,000. Contribution towards tuition fee.

780 Korean Government Scholarships for Developing Countries

Korean government invites 780 international students from 156 countries, for the degree(Master’s & Doctoral) and non-degree research programs in Korea through the Korean Government Scholarship.

Application Deadline: 1st February to 11th March annually

LSHTM Fully-funded PACF Masters Scholarships for Students from sub-Saharan Africa – UK

The Positive Action for Children Fund Scholarship Programme combines completion of a health/development-focused qualifying MSc program with practical industry experience to interested Master’s students.

Two highly competitive PACF Scholarships are available to applicants from sub-Saharan Africa intending to study at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine on a one-year, full-time, London-based 2022 qualifying MSc program.

Scholarship Value: Covers tuition and other mandatory fees, Tax-free stipend (living allowance) of GBP 16,950.00, and GBP 2,000.00 towards MSc project costs, and training support grant for the practical learning element of the award.

Application Deadline: 27th February annually midnight (GMT).

Bristol University Think Big Scholarships for International Students

Bristol University is currently offering £500,000 to help the brightest and best international students come to the University of Bristol. 26 Think Big Undergraduate scholarships and 26 Think Big Postgraduate scholarships are available for courses starting in 2022.

Application Deadlines:

The deadline for the first round is 31st March.

The deadline for the second round is 30th June.

Denys Holland Scholarship for Financially Challenged Students  at University College London, UK 

The Denys Holland Foundation is currently offering scholarship opportunities to financially challenged students who are willing to undertake undergraduate studies at University College, London.

This full scholarship is worth £9,000 per year for three years and may be held alongside other grants, bursaries, awards or scholarships, provided annual total funding does not exceed the cost of fees plus a reasonable sum for maintenance in any one year (as determined by UCL).

GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders in sub-Saharan Africa  (Fully-funded to study in UK)

Three highly competitive scholarships are offered to applicants intending to study on a one-year, full, London-based MSc program at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

To support the training and development of the next generation of leaders in global health, and strengthen the capacity of health systems and health-related research in Africa.

Scholarship Value: Covers tuition fees, including any mandatory field trip fees, and tax-free stipend (living allowance) of GBP16,950.00.

Application Deadline: 13th February annually midnight (GMT).

Chinese Government Scholarship—Chinese University Program for International Students

The Chinese Government through USTC is offering graduate scholarship programs for international students to study full-time master and doctoral courses at the University of Science and Technology of China.

Full scholarships are available for pursuing a graduate program. This Scholarship program provides a full scholarship that covers tuition waiver, accommodation, stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance.

African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Master’s & Co-operative Master’s Program 

AIMS is pleased to open applications for the Master’s & Co-operative Master’s Program at five centers of excellence for the 2022 Academic year.

AIMS Master’s in the Mathematical Sciences is a unique, innovative program that provides problem-solving and computational skills as well as exposure to cutting-edge fields.

While the AIMS Co-operative Master’s in Mathematical Sciences, a work-integrated master’s program, offered only at AIMS Senegal, AIMS Cameroon and AIMS Rwanda.

Jeroen Ensink Memorial Fund Masters Scholarships for Developing Countries 

The Jeroen Ensink Memorial scholarship is offered to international students from sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia who are committed to improving public health in developing countries and wish to undertake the MSc Public Health for Development course.

University College Dublin (UCD) Global Excellence Masters Scholarships  for sub-Saharan African Students

The Scholarship Program is funded by UCD International and aims to attract excellent candidates to the UCD’s graduate programs.

These Eritrean scholarship awards are applicable to full-time Masters programs, excluding all clinical programs and Masters programs in the Smurfit School of Business, joint masters programs, online programs and the MSc in Digital Investigation & Forensic Computing;

American University of Beirut MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program is currently running Masters Scholarships for students in Sub-saharan Africa 2022.

Romanian Government Scholarships for International Students

The Romanian Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers scholarships to foreign citizens to study for Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral Degrees for the 2022 academic year. 85 scholarships will be awarded to international students to study in Romania.

Application Deadline: 15th March.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships for African Countries 

The University of Nottingham is currently one of the Eritrean Scholarships offering a full tuition fee international scholarship program for postgraduate masters courses in conjunction with the Developing Solutions Scholarship Scheme.

Application Deadline: 22nd March annually

Cincinnati Law Masters Scholarship Program for Students from Developing Countries

Cincinnati Law is one of the Eritrean Scholarships which offers merit-based scholarships to highly qualified LLM candidates from underrepresented regions and countries. Through Cincinnati Law’s LL.M Program, students will learn about the US legal system, American legal and academic cultures.

Sustainable Energy Development Scholarship Program for Developing Countries 

Masters Scholarship in Sustainable Energy Development for Students from Developing Countries by the Education for Sustainable Energy Development [ESED] to be taken in any University around the world. These scholarships are available to up to 10 outstanding students for a period of up to two years for Masters Degree, awarded annually.

Application Deadline: 8th March (23:59, UTC-05:00).
