Administered by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, the Kreager Family Scholarship is a need-based fund that is awarded to Michigan high school seniors who have lost a parent or both parents from death or abandonment.
The scholarship is valued at $2,500 and more than one scholarship may be awarded.
Eligible applicants are graduating high school seniors who are Kalamazoo County resident or attend a high school within Kalamazoo County, or a graduating high school senior who is enrolled in South Haven High School.
They must be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree on a full- or part-time basis and be able to demonstrate significant financial need on the FAFSA.
#4. Joseph B. Olivieri Scholarship
Awarded by the Detroit Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Joseph B. Olivieri Scholarship is offered to residents of Michigan’s Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering.
The scholarship is valued at an amount of $1,000. Eligible applicants must be on a CGPA of 3.0 and above and not be receiving other scholarships from the ASHRAE.

Awarded by the Kalamazoo Chapter 116 of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Educational Foundation (SMEEF), the Roscoe Douglas Scholarship is available for Michigan residents who are interested in the design of machinery and tools and are pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Western Michigan University on a full-time basis.

#6. Margaret Ellis And Anona White Scholarship
Awarded by the National Association of Women in Construction (NWAIC) Detroit Chapter 183, the Margaret Ellis and Anona White Scholarship program provides financial assistance each Spring to college students attending a Michigan undergraduate school.
The scholarship is worth an amount of $1,000 offered each to two successful applicants. Another $500 scholarship is reserved for tradeswomen who are completing an apprenticeship for a journeymen’s license.
ELIGIBLE candidates must e enrolled full-time, pursue construction majors, including architecture and civil engineering, have a minimum CGPA of 3.0, and have at least one semester remaining until graduation.
#7. Michigan Retailers Association Scholarships
Michigan Retailers Association Scholarships which come up in January annually is offered to provide financial assistance to Michigan retailers and their employees and families.
The scholarship award is valued from $1,000 to $2,000 and Twenty-one successful applicants will be awarded in 2020.
Furthermore, to be eligible, the student applicant or a parent or guardian must work at a business that is a member of MRA. High school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors may apply.
#8. Skandalaris Family Foundation Scholarships
The Skandalaris Family Foundation Scholarships is a merit-based scholarship program offered to Michigan residents who are pursuing their first bachelor’s degree and display outstanding character, values, talent, and leadership.
The scholarships are valued at an amount of $2,000 each annually can be renewed for up to four years
Furthermore, eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens attending accredited, nonprofit college, have a minimum GPA of 3.4 in their first semester, score at least 27 on the ACT or 1200 on the New SAT, and exhibit involvement in school, community, and/or athletic activities.
The following documents are to be submitted during the application: an official transcript, the record of employment/volunteer work, and a brief essay.
#9. The Ability Center Scholarships
The Ability Center (ACT) provides college scholarships to students with disabilities and are permanent residents in any of the following Ohio or Michigan counties: Lucas, Wood, Fulton, Henry, Ottawa, Defiance, Williams, Monroe, and Lenawee.
The scholarship is valued at an amount of $20,000 offered annually.
In addition, eligible applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary degree program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
#10. Earl R. Sorenson Memorial Scholarship
Funded by the H.D. Hudson Manufacturing Company, the Earl R. Sorenson Memorial Scholarship is offered to U.S. high school seniors who are residents of Iowa or Michigan and have participated in community service and are pursuing or plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in an agriculture-related field excluding food service, parks and recreation studies, and dietetics.

#11. Frank and Lin Berris Scholarship
Awarded by American Quarter Horse Foundation, the Frank and Lin Berris Scholarship is offered to members of the American Quarter Horse Association or the American Quarter Horse Youth Association who are also from Michigan.
The scholarship award is worth an amount of $1,250 which is non-renewable. Previous recipients can however reapply.
Furthermore, eligible applicants are high school seniors or currently enrolled in a post-secondary program who have a GPA which is not less than 2.5. Students who are enrolled in vocational programs must be studying something related to horses to receive this scholarship.
#12. Young and Free Michigan Scholarship
The Michigan First Credit Union awards numerous scholarships to high school seniors (and to three lucky college students) each year. Students must be members of Michigan First Credit Union to apply.
Students can choose to enter the video contest or the essay contest; first-place winners for each contest will be awarded $10,000, second place winners will be awarded $5,000, and third place winners will be awarded $3,000. Multiple $1,000 scholarships are also available.

#13. Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. Scholarship
Awarded by National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization, the Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.
The scholarship is available to students who residents of any of the following states: Alabama, California, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas, or West Virginia, and are pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural engineering or agricultural science/technology or a cognate discipline.
The scholarship award is a non-renewable $2,500 annually offered to ten (10) successful applicants.
Furthermore, eligible applicants must be graduating high school seniors and those currently enrolled in college on a full-time basis, current members of the Future Farmers of America, and less than 23 years of age at the time of application (February 1).

Awarded by the ESA Foundation, the Peggy Jacques Memorial Endowment Scholarship is offered to U.S. and international undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of Michigan. The student must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

#15. Direct Energy Live Brighter Scholarship
The Direct Energy Live Brighter Scholarship is offered to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students who reside in any of the Direct Energy service areas: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington D.C.
The award is at $5,000 for first place and two $2,500 for second-place winners.
Furthermore, eligible applicants must not be less than 18 years old and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. A submission of an essay or an original video in response to the contest theme on the scholarship website as part of the application process.

#16. Cooperative Credit Company Scholarship
Awarded by the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization, Cooperative Credit Company Scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who are members of Future Farmers of America and residents of Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin.
The scholarship is at a non-renewable $1,000 for five successful applicants annually.
Furthermore, qualified student applicants must major in selected agricultural fields, have a grade point average of at least 3.0 or higher, and must exhibit strong leadership skills.

Awarded by the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization, the Andersons, Inc. Scholarship is offered to a graduating U.S. high school senior who plans to attend school in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, or Wisconsin and is a resident of eligible counties in those states.

#18. Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship
The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship is awarded annually to High school seniors who are residents of an area serviced by Comcast. Some of these areas include Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, etc.
The award is at a non-renewable $2,500 annually and approximately 2,000 awards offered annually
#19. Foreclosure.com Scholarship Program
The Foreclosure.com scholarship program offers eligible U.S. undergraduate students an opportunity to be recipients of scholarships valid from $500 to $2,500.
The program, which started in 2009, has issued $72,000 in scholarship money to 40 college students in the U.S. Three awards are offered annually, with $2,500 going to the top prize winner and the two runner ups will receive $500 each.
Desired applicants are to be a minimum of 13 years old at the time of application. However, you must complete and submit an essay as posted on the Foreclosure.com website.
#20. Furman University Charles H. Townes Scholarship
Awarded by Furman University, the Charles H. Townes Scholarship offers aid to U.S. high school seniors who reside outside of South Carolina. However, they need to have a plan to enroll for an undergraduate program at Furman University.
The scholarship award is at s$35,000 annually. However, it is renewable for up to three years if the student maintains an average of 2.7 or higher.
The award also includes a study abroad scholarship of $2,000, a $3,000 stipend for a summer internship or research experience. In addition is an opportunity to participate in Public Leadership Seminars.

#21. Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa Scholarship
Awarded by the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization, the Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa Scholarship offers to its members of the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
This comprises of individuals who are residents of one of the following states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Wisconsin.
