The primary criterion for most scholarships is a good academic score, however it also depends on factors such as your chosen destination, subject and level. In some scholarships, factors like extracurricular activities, and volunteering can also be used to advantage.
However, to be considered for the scholarship, you must:
1. be enrolled in a graduate program at the master’s or doctoral level.
2. be registered in full-time studies for 2 or more terms (21 to 52 weeks in total) for the academic of application.
3. be on a valid study permit.
4. attend a participating Ontario school.
First, you must have a great scholarship application. These are the components of a great application. Secondly, the person should search for fully-funded scholarships. Finally, apply for those scholarships to study for free in Canada.
A majority of the universities in Canada require the applicant to have 16 years of education – a four- year Bachelor’s degree. In terms of academic requirements, you need to have a minimum GPA of 3 on a scale of 4. So, roughly, that will be 65 – 70% or CGPA 7.0 – 7.5 in Indian standards.
