The Senator’s Scholarship Program, which was launched in 2016, has helped more than 140 recipients from various fields of study in the country’s universities.
In line with his desire to strengthen the youth in Akwa Ibom in education, Senator Albert expanded the program’s scope to provide more opportunities and promote academic excellence.

Eligibility for Senator OBA Undergraduate Scholarships
- You must be a student in PUBLIC tertiary institutions (state and federal universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, schools of nursing, etc)
- Applicants above 25 years of age by December 2023 will not be accepted.
- You MUST be in school currently, but not in your final year
- All Akwa Ibom State Indigenes are eligible
- Do NOT apply for this scholarship if you are already a beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme
