Does Trent University offer Scholarships for International Students?

Yes. Trent University offers scholarships for internantion students in 2023. Trent University provides a comprehensive and varied scholarship program to encourage and reward academic excellence in its students.

Scholarships are merit-based financial awards typically based on academic excellence or a combination of leadership, community involvement, and academic achievement.

Trent University entrance scholarships, given for academic excellence, are automatically considered for all applicants.

These are non-renewable and range in value from $1,000 to $3,000. The final average was computed using only academic subjects.

Trent University does not offer entrance scholarships to students in a year-long or short-term study abroad program. ESL students may apply, but the scholarship is only available for undergraduate studies (and not for ESL). The first fall and winter terms will each receive half the scholarship money.

Trent International Scholarships & Awards may be combined with the scholarship.

#1. UK LLM Sub-Saharan African Scholarship

This scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship offered by Nottingham Trent University.

It is available for only one international student from sub – Sahara Africa, and it is worth 115,100 euros. This is for the 2022/23 academic session.

It is available for law students who have been accepted on a full-time LLM Masters program (except professional courses such as the LPC/BPTC).

Applicants are expected to provide proof of English language proficiency in a situation where English is not their first language.

Also, applicants are expected to submit an essay of a maximum of 850 words. Applicants are also expected to fill out both the International Scholarships Application form and the Nottingham Law School sub-Saharan African LLM Scholarship supplementary application form.

#2. Postgraduate International Students Scholarships

This scholarship opportunity is open to all international and European students pursuing master’s degree programs at Nottingham University.

The scholarship is usually worth 25% or 50% waiver of tuition fees.

Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency in a case whereby English is not their first language.

#3. Trent University Entrance Scholarships

This is available for students who are eligible for admission to Nottingham University for undergraduate studies. Trent University students fund this scholarship through an annual levy.

The scholarship excludes housing and is worth circa 22 000 every academic session paid towards tuition and other ancillary fees.

#4. Nottingham Trent University International Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards

This is available for students eligible for admission to Nottingham University for undergraduate studies.

This scholarship is granted to international students entering Nottingham Trent University. The applicant must have outstanding academic achievement.

In addition, the applicant must demonstrate community service skills, leadership potential, and evident financial need.

The award ranges from 2 000 to 22 000 dollars every academic session. (This excludes housing bills).

#5. Western Union Business Solutions Scholarship

There is a scholarship opportunity at Nottingham Trent University provided by the financial partners of Nottingham Trent University.

The Western Union Business Solution teamed up with 23 WU Agents to provide a scholarship in communities worldwide through its Western Union Foundation.

This scholarship was founded by Justin Chiu, who benefited financially as a student from the Nottingham Trent experience.

In a bid to give back to the school, he awards scholarships upon entrance to international students who are from Asia.

The scholarship is worth a range of 3 000 dollars to 15 000 dollars per academic year.
